Legendary test cricketer Younis Khan’s mother passed away yesterday (Tuesday) after a prolonged illness, in Karachi.
Suffering from kidney-related illness, she was admitted in a private hospital where she took her last breaths. According to the family sources, her burial will take place in Younis’s hometown Mardan today.
In his over a decade long cricket career, Younis helmed Pakistan’s T20 Champion team in 2009 and boosted the record of being highest test scorer in the history of Pakistan. The legendary cricketer retired in 2017 after a flourishing career.
