Caribbean Premier League’s teams have announced their squads for the 2019 edition, and Pakistan’s 20-year old all-rounder Shadab has stood above the rest of his team. Included amongst the highest earners for this year, Shadab will be playing for Guyana Amazon Warriors after being picked by the franchise in the first round.
Other names that have made it to the CPL include aced players like Shoaib Malik and Wahab Riaz who will be representing Guyana Amazon Warriors and Barbados Tridents – their former franchises – respectively.
Emerging talent like Muhammad Hasnain, Amad Butt and Usama Mir will be showcasing their talent for Trinbago Knight Riders, Jamaica Tallawahs and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots respectively. Additionally, Barbasos will also feature Pakistan’s rising stars Imad Wasim and Asif Ali.
All in all, Pakistani players have been selected in five team out of the six that play the Caribbean based cricket league.
