Dressed in traditional shalwar kameez attire – fully representing his country – Pakistan team’s captain Sarfraz Ahmed met Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace today. Sarfraz, who will be representing Pakistan for the first time in a 50-over World Cup tournament, was accompanied by captains of all 10 teams participating in the upcoming tournament.
English captain Eoin Morgan, New Zealand’s Kane Williamson, Australian Aaron Finch and Bangladesh’s Mashrafe Mortaza were also amongst the attendees of the meet and greet with the Queen.
