The owner of PSL franchise Multan Sultan, Ali Tareen Khan announced a women’s cricket tournament on Twitter. In collaboration with Khelo Kricket, the tournament is all set to commence from May 16 in Karachi.
While sharing the details of the women’s only cricket tournament, Ali said, “When we started with Multan Sultan, it was our dream to do something for women’s cricket too. After these tournaments, we are hopeful there will be day when we witness women PSL too.”

In the first installment of this season, a night Ramzan Tournament will be held in Karachi in May. Following that, the organizers will take the tournament to Lahore, Islamabad and Multan. In the next season, Ali is hopeful to include women from KPK as well.
Registration for the women cricket tournament has already began in Karachi, and Hadeel Obaid from Khelo Kricket, is enthusiastic to see the over whelming response.
