Pakistan’s opener batsman Imam Ul Haq has landed into a controversy unlike any other. The star cricketer has been accused of being romantically involved with seven to eight women simultaneously and cheating.
Twitter witnessed uproar last night as an anonymous user posted shared screenshots of Imam’s conversations with multiple women. Imam who seemed to be ‘in a relationship’ with all the women was accused of cheating on the poster who had then shared the chats. The poster also accused the Pakistani cricketer of ‘harassing’ her.

Fans on social media lashed at Imam for his practices, and sports journalists like Abdul Majeed Bhatti too raised an eyebrow. As per Geo, Bhatti said that the matter is of grave concern as Imam is supposedly a role model for young cricketers.
However, Twitter users also took into account that this case was not of harassment and cannot be termed under #metoo movement. Many social media users stated that although Imam should be held accountable for cheating on multiple women, he cannot be called a harasser as the chats showed consensual relationship between two adults.
Imam ul Haq has so far not released any statement on the matter, and neither has Pakistan Cricket Board.
