Former New Zealand Coach Mike Hesson is reportedly going to come in place of Pakistan’s former head Coach Mickey Arthur. On Wednesday, the Pakistan Cricket Board announced that Mickey Arthur will be let go off his responsibilities as coach since PCB will not renew his contract.

Mike Hesson was New Zealand’s coach for six years before he stepped down last year in June. New Zealand’s current coach Gary Stead then replaced him.

Hesson went to Indian Premiere League and headed its franchise Kings XI Punjab for a year. Recently, he announced on Twitter that he had resigned from the Indian league team.

It is reported that PCB has approached Hesson for the vacant position of head coach, and response from the former cricketer is awaited.
