Muhammad Amir who made it to Pakistan’s World Cup 2019 squad after, what many call, a tough journey will most likely miss the action as the green side debuts their tournament spree against West Indies tomorrow.
As per reports, Amir who had contracted chicken pox during the England vs Pakistan series, hasn’t fully recovered as of yet.
The possibility of Amir staying back for the first match has also come from the pacer himself who requested coach Mickey Arthur to give him a little more time to recover.
Earlier Amir was a part of Pakistan vs England first ODI but the match was halted due to rain. Shortly after he got severely ill and had to miss out the whole series. It seems like Amir’s fans have to wait a little more before they can see him in action.
